Andreas Lange is composer, orchestrator and arranger for film, TV and musical. He orchestrated the film scores for many popular and successful German and international cinema and TV productions. His works include the orchestrations for Wolfgang Petersen's FOUR AGAINST THE BANK, THE PHYSICIAN, I'M OFF THEN and LASSIE COME HOME (see filmography).
He arranged and orchestrated for numerous renowned composers, e.g. the film composers David Newman and Harold Faltermeyer, Alex Geringas, Joachim Schlüter, Martin Lingnau, Enis Rotthoff, German Film Award Winners Lorenz Dangel and Dascha Dauenhauer, and he collaborated with Nic Raine & Udo Jürgens during the scoring sessions for the movie THE MAN WITH THE BASSOON. He orchestrated a large amount of the Johannes Repka's German Film Award nominated score for the film TIMM THALER & DAS VERKAUFTE LACHEN by Andreas Dresen. His arrangements and orchestrations have been recorded by well-known orchestras like the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg (Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg), the City Of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra, the European Film Philharmonic and the RSO Vienna. He recorded in renowned studios in Europe, amongst others at Air Studios London, at the Scoring Stage Babelsberg and at Teldex Studio Berlin.

Andreas has studied trumpet and composition at the HMT Hanover. Subsequently he has completed a postgraduate course in film composition at the Academy for Film and TV “Konrad Wolf” Potsdam-Babelsberg (HFF). In 2007 he has been selected to participate in the ASCAP TV & Film Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis during which he recorded with the Hollywood Studio Orchestra in the 20th Century Fox Newman Stage.
He has composed music for film (Shortcutz Berlin Award 2012 “Best Original Score” for the film REPITU) and theater (Hans-Otto-Theater Potsdam). Furthermore he has won several awards for his compositions for symphonic band.
